Despite all the fun i am having here...there is one thing i miss about home: those nights out in greasy black shitholes which are covered in graffiti and spit, where you can hardly breathe because the air is thick from smoke, where gregarious weirdos, pale goths, skater kids, crusty punks and junkies peacefully coexist without even noticing each other, where the music pumps so loud your ears hurt while you are gradually getting drunk on cheap booze before dancing around like an idiot...the kind of place you know is gonna cut your life expectancy at least by ten years, but hey, it´s totally worth it!

HRSDC X-mas Party

The HRSDC party department did not disappoint me AT ALL. On the pics: Kerry-Lynn, Justin and Leo. Last ones standing: Kerry-Lynn and Verena (hey, I have to represent my country!)

This is a picture taken on the lookout spot at the Belvedere with my beloved new friend Harit from India (both of us trying to keep a straight face at -18° C plus wind chill...)

Québec

Overlooking the deep blue St. Lawrence River, old, charming and not too large in its size, the "national capital" of the province of Quebec reminded me very much of home
